The Department of Studies in Justice, Culture, & Social Change at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) seeks a full-time, non-tenure-track Instructor or Assistant Professor for a one-year position in Sociology beginning August 18, 2025, and ending May 17, 2026. The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses and departmental and collegiate service.

 

 

Required qualifications include: a Master's in Sociology or Criminology from an accredited university; evidence of ability to teach research methods (as well as electives within the candidate’s areas of strength); and evidence of successful college teaching experience.
