The Department of Sociology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA invites applications for an open area tenure-track position. This position will be at the level of Assistant Professor and will commence in Fall 2025. Minimum qualifications include a PhD at the time of appointment.
We are seeking a scholar with a strong research trajectory that contributes to the strengths of the department, the university, and Atlanta. We value cutting edge research that adopts a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches, and that pertains to a range of substantive foci. Candidates should be prepared to teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and to strive for excellence in teaching.
