Full Time Faculty, Tenure Track Position (Open Rank) in Sustainability, School of Social Sciences (SOSS)

The School of Social Sciences (SOSS) at Singapore Management University (SMU) is hiring for a new faculty position (Assistant, Associate or Full-Professor) in Sustainability for 2025. We are looking for someone working on environmental policy and governance, sustainable development, or environmental sociology topics, with a disciplinary grounding in Public Policy, Sociology, or a related field. Sustainability forms a core research priority for SMU under its Vision 2025 research strategy. Sustainability is also a key focus for SOSS for our undergraduate program in Sustainable Societies as well as the Master of Sustainability (MST) launched in 2024. A premier university in Asia, Singapore Management University (SMU) is internationally recognised for its world-class research and distinguished teaching. The School of Social Sciences leads SMU’s social science research and teaching, representing four key academic disciplines as well as interdisciplinary approaches.
