Job Details
The College of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University is a vibrant academic community which fosters an environment of collaborative research and intellectual stimulation among its faculty and students. The College invites applications for multiple assistant professor positions to begin Fall 2025. The areas of specialization are open. Applicants must have demonstrated effectiveness in research and teaching. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice or a related field (such as sociology, psychology, or public policy). ABD candidates who anticipate degree completion no later than August 2025 will also be considered. A Juris Doctorate alone is not sufficient for consideration. Women and minority candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Review of applications will begin on September 3, 2024, and will continue until the positions are filled.
