Job Details

The Department of Sociology and the Jackson School of Global Affairs at Yale University intend to appoint a full-time tenure-track assistant professor with an appointment beginning July 1, 2025.

Successful candidates will have a strong international, global, or comparative element to their research and teaching with some potential for long or short term policy implications. The future faculty member will have a joint appointment between the Department of Sociology and the Jackson School of Global Affairs, with a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching as well as service in both.
