Position Description
The Department of Sociology at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin Fall of academic year 2025-26. All areas will be considered, especially those that complement our current strengths. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and service to the department, college, and university.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a PhD in hand or expected by August 1, 2025, demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, and have a clearly defined research agenda.
