Description
The Department of Sociology at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2025 in Sociology of Gender. In addition to a strong research program in the Sociology of Gender, research and teaching areas in Health Studies or Medical Sociology are also desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to be part of developing and teaching a diverse and inclusive curriculum, including interdisciplinary programs and other college-wide initiatives such as the 360 Program and the first-year Emily Balch Seminars. A Ph.D. in Sociology is required, and candidates must have completed all Ph.D. requirements by the start date.
