The Assistant, Associate, or full Professor will contribute to the core courses for the FGSS major, as well as other courses in their area of specialization, and will carry a 2/2 teaching load. Additional duties include advising and mentoring students, carrying on a program of research, and participating in faculty governance at the departmental and university level. Ph.D. or advanced graduate course work in women’s and gender studies or other relevant academic discipline in the humanities or humanistic-oriented social sciences required; if ABD, a successful candidate must show evidence that they will have a Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment. Applications received after October 1, 2024 may not receive full consideration. Please contact Meghan Demanchyk, Administrative Assistant of the FGSS Department (mdemanchyk@wesleyan.edu), with any questions regarding the position or application process.
